Nature of Counseling
Counseling is about changing how you think and what you do. If you commit to changing, I will commit to helping you. Honesty and confidentiality are cornerstones to the therapeutic relationship. I expect direct, honest communication and I return it.

Counseling Relationship and Description of Practice:
During our counseling relationship, we will meet regularly at TMS or virtually. My professional boundaries include the expectation you will not contact me outside of session for issues besides scheduling, and not asking that I write you references or intervene socially on your behalf. Should you experience an emergency, including suicidal or homicidal feelings, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
Effects of Counseling
If you have questions or concerns related to participation in counseling, please tell me. The counseling experience varies and is unique to you; It may include uncomfortable changes. The benefits of counseling rely on client participation.
